Privacy, without the fog.
Short version. We store as little as possible. No advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, no selling data. Your age-gate choice stays in your own browser. If you email us, we keep that email to answer it.
1. Who is responsible
AV-Productions EU, registered in the Netherlands, is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions, requests, or complaints: hello@kawaii-site.com.
2. What we process
When you just visit
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: IP address, requested page, timestamp, user agent, and response code. These exist to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
Your age confirmation
When you confirm you are 18 or older, we store a single flag in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
When you email us
We receive your email address, the content of your message, and whatever you choose to include. We use it to reply and to administer your membership.
When you become a paying member
Payment is handled by a third-party provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a subscription identifier. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
3. Why we may do this
- To run the site — legitimate interest in keeping a working, secure service.
- To answer you — performance of a contract, or your request to be contacted.
- To administer a membership — performance of a contract.
- To meet legal obligations — for example tax and accounting records.
4. Cookies and trackers
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is the age-gate flag described above, which is strictly necessary to remember your choice and is not shared with anyone. That is why you see no cookie banner.
5. Who else sees data
Only the processors we need: our hosting provider, our email provider, and the payment provider for paid memberships. They act on our instructions under a processing agreement. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
If a competent authority makes a lawful request, we comply to the extent the law requires.
6. How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymised. Emails are kept while your membership or enquiry is active, plus the period required for administration. Payment and invoice records are kept for the statutory Dutch retention period.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Mail us and we respond within a month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to administrative systems is restricted and protected with keys rather than passwords. No system is perfect, but we do not keep data we do not need, which is the most effective protection there is.
9. Children
This site is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly process data of minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, mail us and we delete it.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and paid members are informed by email.
